Woman and Nature - Earth Collection
This series is my personal exploration of returning to my roots.
For a long time, I was disconnected from nature. I spent years living in cities, chasing success, and climbing the ladder quickly. The stress of that lifestyle left me burnt out, deeply entrenched in an eating disorder, and trapped in a self-destructive, abusive relationship. But that rock bottom led me on a spiritual journey.
I turned inward. I started practicing yoga, then meditation, and journaling. I discovered the power of routines. I sought guidance from a naturopath, and ultimately, I let go of everything—moving across the world to chase a new dream: becoming a full-time artist. Along the way, I was hired to paint murals connected to nature, and I got my first plants. As they grew, so did my love for them.
Through this journey, I found myself. I found inner peace. I found home. I created a life I love. And now am seeking the reconnection with nature.
This collection is a deeper dive into that journey of reconnection—with nature, with myself, with feminity and with spirituality. It is about the sacred bond between women and the natural world, a relationship rooted in strength, intuition, and resilience. "Woman and Nature" explores this deep connection—the peace, the calm, the nurturing force of the earth, but also the power and beauty that nature embodies. Like women, nature carries both serenity and storms, growth and decay, struggle and renewal.
In my research, I often came across depictions of Gaia as a strong, forceful, and beautiful woman. Nature is a force, ever-changing, ever-adapting. Just as landscapes shift and evolve, women navigate cycles of transformation, carrying the weight of expectations while finding ways to thrive.
There is fragility, yes—but it is not weakness. Like the changing seasons, we fall and rise. We bloom, we wither, and we begin again. Just as the earth regenerates, so too do we find strength in renewal.
Sometimes, I long to simply be—to surrender to the embrace of nature, to be nurtured by the earth as it nurtures me. To live in rhythm with the moon, to rise and set with the sun, to exist in harmony with the natural world.
Through this series, I explore the full spectrum of connection between women, nature, and spirituality. It is a celebration of resilience, of beauty, of power, and of the quiet strength that lies in surrendering to the cycles of life.
